Showroom Wallpaper Design

The Fall 2010 Men’s collection was about clubbing couture. We were asked by Ungaro to create a wallpaper for its showroom opening. Our design interwove two paradisiacal planes – a field of blurry, red strobe-lights, juxtaposed with Mihály Munkácsy’s heavenly, 18th century painting “Apotheosis of the Renaissance” – two worlds whose unexpected collision evokes the spirit of Ungaro’s clubbing couture.
